Best Supporting Actress: Emilia Perez isn’t going to win much, but this should be one of the lone bright spots for the divisive film for the evening. It helps that the category is very weak this year.

Best Cinematography: The most loaded category of the evening where every single nominee simply looks gorgeous, my pick is the film that captures the way movies used to look before everything got too saturated and pretty and clean.

Best Film Editing: Anora is A LOT of movie, at times feeling way too long than it deserves to be, but there are a few strokes of genius when it comes to the way the movie moves.

Best Visual Effects: I think Dune: Part Two will repeat here but the winner should be Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. It has the best visual effects of any film to date and is on the forefront of the new frontier.
